This year, the “GameOn” conference is becoming an integral part of the “Indie Town” program and will take place on a stage set up specifically next to the developers’ area.
The three-day program will feature presentations, discussions, interviews with representatives from the gaming industry, and live demonstrations of independent games presented by “GameOn.”
Friday’s program will focus on study and career opportunities in the gaming industry. Representatives from Lithuanian and international universities and colleges will present study programs related to game development, while industry professionals will share their experiences regarding their studies, professional paths, and careers.
The first day of the conference will conclude with the “Pitch Battle.” During this event, game developers participating in “GameOn” will present their projects to publishers, industry professionals, and event guests. The creator of the highest-rated presentation will win a trip to gamescom 2027!
Saturday’s program will focus on Lithuanian and international game developers, their projects, and their professional experiences. The best-rated games from Lithuania and the Baltic states over the past year will be presented, and various creative and career paths will be discussed.
A separate segment of the program will be dedicated to the experiences, insights, and practical advice of women working in the gaming industry. The stage will also host discussions with game publishers participating in “GameOn” and international guests of the event.
Sunday’s program will be dedicated to games, gamers, and gaming culture in general. Projects by “GameOn” participants will be presented and played live on stage, and discussions with gamers will focus on games by Lithuanian and international developers.
The program will also explore opportunities in professional gaming, game content creation, participation in events, and other ways to get involved in gaming culture.
