GameOn 2026 invites all cosplay creators and performers to step onto the stage! If you craft costumes, embody your favorite characters and want to present your work live to the gaming community, this stage is for you.

The cosplay contest brings together participants of all experience levels — from first-time performers to seasoned creators. It’s a chance to showcase your work, share your creativity with the community and meet fellow cosplay enthusiasts.

Expect live stage performances, judging, prizes and strong community support. Whether this is your first appearance or you already have experience, what matters most is creativity, dedication and love for the characters you bring to life.

CONTEST RULES

General Conduct Rules

By registering, you confirm that your details are correct and that you comply with the terms of participation, the costume design rules and that you have read the important information about the GameON cosplay contest.

• Respect all participants, guests, and staff at all times.
• Aggressive, threatening, or inappropriate behavior is not tolerated.
• Costumes and behavior must remain appropriate for all ages. Avoid
nudity, sexual content, or excessive gore.
• Do not touch others or their costumes without permission. Cosplay is
not consent.
• No mock fights, running, or dangerous stunts inside the venue.
• Do not block entrances, emergency exits, or walkways with props or
photoshoots.
• Props must be carried safely. Never point, swing, or “fire” them at
others.
• No pyrotechnics, smoke, or fire effects anywhere at the event.
• Confetti, glitter, liquids, or other messy materials are forbidden without
prior approval.
• Always follow the instructions of event staff and security.
• Failure to follow rules may result in removal from the event without
refund.

Prop Weapons and Dangerous Items Rules

General Guidelines

  • Real weapons are strictly prohibited – including firearms, knives, swords, axes, and similar items.
  • Prop weapons must be made from safe materials such as foam,
    plastic, lightweight wood, or resin. They must have no sharp edges or
    functional mechanisms.
  • Airsoft or firearm replicas are only allowed if:
    • fully deactivated (no batteries, gas, or ammunition),
    • have a clearly visible orange tip or other bright marking,
    • and are not carried in a way that resembles a real firearm.
  • Metal weapons are not allowed, even if dulled.
  • Props that resemble real modern firearms must be clearly
    painted in bright, unrealistic colors to avoid confusion.

Allowed Prop Types

  • Lightweight, safe weapons made from foam, plastic, resin, or soft wood.
  • 3D-printed or molded props with blunt edges.
  • Light-up plastic swords or sabers (e.g., lightsabers).
  • Bows without strings, or arrows with soft and non-harmful tips.
  • Deactivated airsoft replicas with bright visible markers.
  • Cosplay shields and props made of safe, impact-resistant materials.

Prohibited Items
  • Real firearms, airsoft, paintball, or BB guns that are not properly
    deactivated and marked.
  • Any kind of metal weapon – including swords, knives, or axes.
  • Functional bows, crossbows, slingshots, or any device capable of launching projectiles.
  • Heavy, sharp, or dangerous props made of metal, glass, or thick wood.
  • Stun guns, batons, or any real self-defense tools.
  • Props that look too realistic and lack bright markings or color separation from real weapons.
Usage Rules
  • Props must be carried responsibly – do not point them at others, swing
    them, or use them in threatening ways.
  • Mock combat or fighting is not allowed anywhere in the venue.
  • Unsafe props may be denied entry or confiscated by event security.
  • Oversized props (over 2 meters in length) are only allowed with prior
    approval from organizers.
Consequences
  • Props that violate the rules may be confiscated until the end of the
    event.
  • Individuals who break these rules may be removed from the event
    without refund.
  • Final decisions on prop approval are made by event staff or security
    personnel.
